  1. 6 people on this small sectional? Kids probably. If I have to entertain 8 guess in small piece like this, half of them will end up seating on the floor…so will spend a little bit mor money on carpet. She did a great job as the room is rally narrow. Design always use the bar chariot which is pretty cute in photo but when come the time to clean the floor with your vacuum you need to find a way to pull the loaded chariot out! I will suggest a wall mounted bar.

  2. fireplace should have stayed in tiles

  3. I don't get how people let other people pick their art for them. Leaving it to the designer/decorator makes sense when it comes to textures, styles, colour palettes, and mostly organising the space, but the choice of art is really personal and needs to have some sort of sentimental value.

  5. I love all these designers saying, “ I did”, “ I did”, as if the owners had no say in their homes. So unprofessional and I know who not to hire.

  6. How much was this "small budget"? I see the design fundamentals, but curious about what the true cost is here. Do these folks have another living space for watching TV or is that not their thing?

  12. For me, a living space is all about being as cozy as possible. You need to feel like you're in your own little fox den where everything is exactly to your style and comfort.

  14. I bet the client went out and bought a low, trendy, coffee table after you left . . . I know I would have. Apart from that, great job!
