  6. Hi ,thank you so much for all your videos , really good pro work . My wife and I decided to DIY 16 by 24 concrete slab in our backyard porch .so I wanted to ask you what the requirements for a slab that in the future we will possibly want to close for a room and the slab will be in a slight angle since we have a lake in the back .I will only prepare the the mold but not pour concrete ,I would have a concrete company pour it for me .any special ideas or rules that I got to follow do I need to attach it to the house some how because of the angle ,should I use mash or do it like you did in this video lay the bars and tie them ? What kind of concrete should I use in South Florida? Thank you

Being 17 and doing this with my uncle i gotta say, it's a really neat experience. But not as great during the summer.

  8. I did this for my dad in 9th grade for $20 and immediately spent it on kush

  9. Nice…

  10. still going to learn decorative. I want to do a nice multiple level deck. with a stone oven and a place to cut up fish and hose it off easy. and a fire pit or place

  11. Блог самостройщика!

У нас такую работу максимум втроём делают.

  12. hello why the joint is provided? for what reason

  13. I guess you don’t need a choker course with decent soil and temperatures

  14. So how is the rebar supposed to work when its flat on the ground? Shouldn't be raised a couple inches? Maybe using chairs?

  15. Nice

  16. thank you for the video

  17. You're the best thanks

  18. I can do everything same day or I need to wait until next day to take the wood

  19. Joint, cutting a joint why? : why do you score a line in the concrete? Is there a maximum area before you need to mark a line as you did here perpendicular to the pation door? Is it to reduce the chance of cracking or why?

  20. Not sure that slab would last one Indiana winter…..

  21. 6:20 was the best part of the video

    piso concreto

  23. Love hearing the kids argue in the background lol

  24. I'm retired now, but I always laid cheap, thin plastic sheet on dirt before pouring. Ground can't wick the moisture and it cures more slowly.

  25. Is there a building code that says to stay away from the weep screed (stucco flashing)? You got pretty close to it if not right on it.

I bought a home that already had a slab poured and it was poured up to the weep screed. I've had issues with moisture damage when it rains. My wood flooring and drywall has gotten damaged on the inside. How would you fix that? Demo and pour a new slab lower to get a away from the weep screed?

  26. Looks like a good pour, and there should not be any overflow in the rainy season.

  27. Hello What was the cost of that size slab?

  28. British Metalworks

    Thats a lovely cut/shape/edge.
